Creating Healthy Behaviors

Creating healthy behaviors is tough and adding them to our daily habits can be difficult. We can make this process a little bit easier and more sustainable by moving one small step at a time. These small steps of positive changes will result in long-lasting and sustainable healthy habits. We hope that the guides listed below will support your efforts in creating and adopting healthy behaviors.

There are, of course, web and mobile applications that can be used to automatically track some of these behaviors. However, sometimes it can be helpful to have something tangible and to manually update trackers. This method can add more accountability and requires more engagement.

SMART goals are used to create more effective goals. As you set out to draft your goals make sure that they are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-specific. This will help to set you up for success as you work to accomplish your goals.
